The Raytheon is seeking a Missions Systems Engineer - Systems & Integrator Engineer (SE&I), providing company-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. This position manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices. Location: Fort Meade, Maryland
What You Will Do
- The Senior SE&I Engineer provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition.
- Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine the appropriate resolution.
- This position communicates with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively guide parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices.
- A key purpose of this position is to manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience utilizing data and visualization instruments to analyze and assess threat events and options.
- Systems installation, integration, and test experience.
- Systems Engineering technical abilities and project management skills.
- Experience in requirements analysis; working in a collaboratively in team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor) Skill needed RFC impact review and assessment experience.
- Experience in cross site and enterprise level planning and implementation practices.
- An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
