Associate Director of Sales - UK Remote (occasional travel to London/Brighton)

Reporting to the Group Sales Director and working with the broader sales team across EMEA to align messaging and strategy, this role will form a critical part of the growth plans for UHCG. With responsibility for large corporate new business, broker management and development strategy, the role holder will work across sales, underwriting, product, and marketing to deliver to the needs of the UK market clients. Driving new revenue opportunities and delivering growth targets, this individual will play a key role acting as brand ambassador for UHCG in the competitive UK broker market.
Primary responsibilities:
• New business generation
• Support client retention on large cases
• Subject matter expert on MNCs buying behaviours, and on cross-border healthcare
• Contribute as industry voice/ voice of market in product and proposition development
• Leads on large tender submissions and RFPs and supports other members of sales team
• Working closely with the bids and sales enablement team to craft relevant and compelling materials and bid documents
• Supporting the wider sales team to achieve targets through peer support
• Responsibility for the up-to-date collation of Salesforce data and supporting MI
• Active engagement, oversight and strategy development of key prospects and opportunities
• Establish broker development objectives and develop regional and market specific competitive strategies as part of annual broker development plans
• Pro-actively monitor productivity of all brokers
• Maintain a robust, qualified new business pipeline
• Support the analysis and reporting of sales and account management activity and market trends, including sales plan execution, competitive activity and new product requirements
• Demonstrate solid leadership qualities and organisational skills
• Display exceptional strategic selling and account management skills including Discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing, account planning, retention, and renewal of existing accounts

Required qualifications:
• Considerable (10+ years) and broad experience in a Business Development or Client Management role in a solution selling, business-to-business environment
• IPMI (International Private Medical Insurance) market experience essential
• A high level of understanding of expatriate and global mobility market
• Prior relationship management experience gained within a B2B marketplace
• Previous sales or client management team management experience, preferably at a Senior or Board level
• Able to demonstrate a proven track record of profitable growth
• A natural networker with the ability to map out key account plans and effectively upsell into current accounts together with establishing a pipeline of new client prospects.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft packages and Salesforce CRM
Preferred qualifications:
• A relevant tertiary educational degree or diploma
• Prior experience in Marketing or Propositions an advantage
