Purpose
The HR Specialist supports one of the Business HR teams by working with the business to contribute insight on people implications and operational activities. Coordinates support from other Business HR members, practice centers and service centers when appropriate. Provides advice and interpretation of HR issues to managers and employees in a variety of settings. Works with managers and employees to resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Completes projects that require coordination of the efforts of others, or internal bench marking, data gathering or analysis of data and/or issues. Proposes a project plan, key milestones, and outcomes and measures of success. Reviews project plan with immediate manager. Sample projects include annual goal cycle, annual compensation cycle, talent management reviews and other special projects.
- Maintains contact with all levels of employee to provide a communication link with management; recognizes trends within the served business; apprises BHR of significant developments within the employee population.
- Presents sensitive data to individuals and large groups. Persuades and convinces others to take action based on insights identified.
- Serves as super user or system expert for those systems used for HR processes in order to assist and support BHR in the execution of these activities and to answer and assist business partners. This includes RPT, Workday, Employee Survey, and talent management tools.
- Partners with BHR in preparation for all performance management activities, including talent reviews, year-end calibration activities, and goal setting. This position will enable the BHR team to deliver business solutions faster by standardizing communications, ensuring timelines are met in the most agile and efficient manner, reviewing data for accuracy, identifying trends and common insights to help drive practical business outcomes.
- Coordinates work to deliver effective and timely solutions for business partners as needed. Proactively communicates and addresses questions posed by business to ensure understanding of HR processes and initiatives.
- Manages onboarding processes and activities for new hires in International HQ.
- Bachelor’s degree. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- 0-2 years Human Resources experience.
- Must have moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of business and HR principles and practices gained through multiple business cycles in HR.
- Understands the regulations and policies affecting HR and the business.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at thetime of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographiclocation, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
