We’re seeking a Principal Frontend Engineer for one of our amazing and versatile teams. Autodesk is seeking a Principal FE Engineer to join our Agile development team!
As part of your role, you will be part of the team responsible for building foundational services and contributing to developing Autodesk’s next generation of Autodesk Construction Cloud Platform, which is used with mobile, web applications, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead strategic initiatives, driving innovation and excellence

• You will work as a member of a self-organized agile team that builds, owns, and runs the service.

• You will contribute to all aspects of service development using React.

• Work closely with product management and UX leads to understand and translate requirements into elegant implementations.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in computer science or related technical field (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred)

• 5+ years of proven experience in frontend development, with a track record of delivering high-quality, complex web applications

• 3+ years of experience with cloud application development using React

• Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead initiatives, driving projects from concept to successful execution

• Strong ownership mentality with a deep understanding of front-end technologies, frameworks, and architecture

• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills (English)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD & DevOps

• Experience with Git or equivalent distributed revision control systems

• Experience with building and maintaining dev tools such as testing, control systems and monitoring tools
