    Position Overview 

    Autodesk empowers innovators to design and make a better world. Fusion is our integrated cloud platform for CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB. As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will independently own a quality strategy for a functional domain, drive automation, and influence engineering practices across teams. 

    This is a hybrid position in Pune, India. You will report to Senior Manager, SQA.

    Responsibilities 

    • Participate in Scrum ceremonies: planning, Daily Scrum, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective to gather requirements; estimate, plan, and execute testing activities; report progress to stakeholders 

    • Work with the Agile team at improving Quality Assurance processes and be an ambassador for quality 

    • Develop and execute software test plans & Test Cases at the user interface level, including functional tests, performance tests, and workflow tests to identify system and software problems and their causes 

    • Create and manage API automations 

    • Perform functional testing, regression testing, ongoing system integration, and periodic build verification tests as part of each product release cycle 

    • Perform both manual and automated testing. Create scripts to support automation testing 

    • Identify redundant test scenarios and work on their automation 

    • Serve as the team liaison to make transparent overall quality status and risks 

    • Investigate and communicate anything that may impede progress on projects 

    • Support customers and provide feedback on training issues as well as defects encountered 

    • Stay accountable for project deliverables & deadlines 

    • Ability to stay self-motivated, maintain accountability within the team, and achieve results 

    • Proactively leading by example, serve as a means from which teammates can learn 

    • Be a champion of the overall strategy and help team members embrace joint ownership of quality 

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

    • 5 to 10 years of experience with API Testing and Automation 

    • Experience with CAD or Industrial Design required in 2D Sketch, Assembly and designing mechanical parts 

    • Experience in testing solutions based on ML/AI 

    • Experience working in a Scrum team is required.  (JIRA experience preferred)

    • Basic knowledge of modern programming languages, preferably Core Java, or Python 

    • Welcoming new challenges and readiness to extend knowledge outside current areas of expertise 

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Experience in application testing with AI 

    • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.) 

    • Working Experience or educational background in 2D and 3D CAD is a plus 

    • Experience in agile software development process
