Job Description

Your Team

As Senior Associate you will be part of Private Markets Treasury Operations team and responsible for managing monetary operations, cash obligations and liquidity of funds. This includes but not limited to the execution of intercompany transfers, FX settlements, bank loan interest, Capital call, distribution, purchase price. It also includes bank accounts management in supporting account opening and closing requests, as well as bank user access administration for our Internal teams and service providers. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Role

  • Process and execute all funding requests received from internal teams.
  • Perform daily cash transactions including payments, transfers, FX settlements, loan interest, capital call, distribution, purchase price, acquisition, incorporation and drawdowns.
  • Prepare and validate cash files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and manage loan interest payments, ensuring timely execution and reconciliation.
  • Proactively monitor bank balances to ensure minimum coverage is maintained.
  • Prevent account overdrafts through timely interventions and forecasting.
  • Escalate any discrepancies or shortfalls immediately to relevant teams.
  • User access creation and approval matrix assignments across banking platforms.
  • Coordinate with banks for swift details for payments processed.
  • Utilize Service Now to monitor, prioritize, and respond to treasury-related request and communications.
  • Ensure all incoming queries are addressed within defined SLAs.
  • Liaise closely with Fund Operations, Debt Team, Structured Finance, and other key internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external service providers and banking partners to ensure smooth transaction processing and issue resolution.
  • Actively contributes to treasury-related projects, including the implementation of new tools, automation initiatives, and process enhancements.
  • Provide strategic treasury insights to support informed decision-making and drive operational efficiency.

The Experience You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in treasury or cash operations, ideally in a fund or financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of banking platforms, payment systems, and treasury tools.
  • Ability to work under situations with rigorous deadlines.
  • EMEA region experience would be added advantage.
  • Experience with Service Now or similar workflow management systems.
  • Valid Passport is mandatory.

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and coordination/ Collaboration
  • Basic knowledge of MS Suite, proficiency MS Excel
  • Problem solving and decision making

Academic requirements

  • MBA Or any professional qualification with finance as the major
