Job Description

We are seeking an inspired Senior Product Manager to drive our mission of delivering frictionless and easy‑to‑onboard payment acceptance solutions that empower SMBs to grow with Visa as a trusted partner. In this role, you will be the guardian of our product's technical integrity and the catalyst for a seamless implementation journey—ensuring our APIs, SDKs, and onboarding experiences meet the highest standards while preventing implementation from becoming a bottleneck. You will launch fit‑for‑purpose acceptance solutions, design and operationalize sustainable economic models, and establish strategic partnerships across internal and external stakeholders. Serving as the technical subject matter expert and the bridge between clients, Customer Success, and Technology teams, you will help millions of small businesses accept payments effortlessly. If you are passionate about payments, solving complex problems, and making a meaningful impact at scale, we invite you to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Implementation Oversight: Supervise and support the end-to-end implementation process for clients, across LAC, ensuring a smooth and successful integration of our acceptance solutions, such as Visa Accept and Tap-to-phone
  • Quality Assurance of Technical Assets and processes: Take ownership of the quality, clarity, and usability of all technical documentation, SDKs, APIs, testing environments, and implementation guides. Constantly suggest changes and improvements
  • Client Technical Engagement: Serve as the technical bridge between the clients' development and Visa’s engineering teams during implementation, organizing the dynamics and tech meetings
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal Customer Service (CS), engineering, and global product teams to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback from the real experience with customers
  • AI‑first mindset: Ability to leverage data, automation, and emerging AI tools to optimize decision‑making, enhance product performance, and drive scalable growth across the acceptance ecosystem
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, financial institutions, technology providers, and other external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales, customer support) to ensure cohesive and aligned product development and go-to-market strategies.  Act as the product champion and advocate for SMBs within the organization, ensuring their needs and pain points are effectively communicated and addressed. Present product updates, progress, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and future plans
  • Influence on Global Development Roadmap: Act as the voice of the LAC region's technical needs, influencing the global product and engineering teams to prioritize features and fixes that improve the local implementation experience and technical quality of the product
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and address technical risks, roadblocks, or gaps in the product's capabilities that could impact implementation or client satisfaction
  • Understand the LAC Payment Landscape: Develop a deep understanding of the payment landscape in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, including regulatory environments, market trends, and cultural nuances. Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging payment technologies in the region to identify opportunities and threats

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
