    Position Overview

Autodesk’s Worldwide Sales Finance team is seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Business Partner to support the Global Renewals & License Compliance organization. This role will report directly to the Global Renewals & License Compliance Finance Director and will closely collaborate with the Senior Finance Business Partner for Global License Compliance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, integrity, and sound judgment, with strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, systems, risk assessment, and business partnership—ideally within a software or SaaS environment. The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to balance high-level strategy with detailed financial execution, while partnering effectively with business leaders and upholding fiduciary responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic and operational finance support to the Global License Compliance team, leveraging data-driven insights and financial analysis to improve ROI.
    • Partner with the Global License Compliance management team on capacity planning and coverage strategy to align resource allocation and investment requests with business objectives.
    • Support accurate top-line forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
    • Translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and resource prioritization.
    • Support quarterly business reviews, executive reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
    • Reinforce internal controls in partnership with the License Compliance team, including reviewing and approving exceptional sales transactions.
    • Ensure a high standard of quality, rigor, and accuracy across all finance support activities.
    • Audit and submit quota attainment results on a timely basis, including necessary adjustments to the Global Commissions team, and support commission analysis.
    • Oversee the Opex budget (headcount and variable expenses) for supported teams.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
    • 8 to 12 of relevant finance or business analysis experience is required.
    • Experience working in a technology, software, or SaaS company is preferred.
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is essential.
    • Experience with financial systems such as Anaplan, QlikView, Sigma, or similar tools is preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to business stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in complex, fast-paced, and evolving environments while managing tight deadlines.
    • Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new business challenges.
