We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager (Senior Director‑level IC) to join the Payment Products Development PMO, supporting Global Sales and Commercial Operations. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving an enterprise‑wide portfolio of complex, cross‑functional programs spanning business, product, and technology.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role leads through influence, serving as a trusted partner to senior and executive stakeholders. The Principal Technical Program Manager (PTPM) applies strong technical, strategic, and operational judgment to navigate ambiguity, optimize delivery outcomes, and establish scalable program management best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Portfolio Ownership & Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of a multi‑program enterprise portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and change, minimizing delivery and organizational impact.
- Champion continuous improvement and PTPM/TPM best practices across programs and teams.
Executive Communication & Stakeholder Leadership
- Deliver clear, concise executive‑level status updates and reporting, consolidating complex, multi‑source inputs.
- Tailor communications for diverse audiences, proactively engaging stakeholders to minimize escalations.
- Drive meeting effectiveness and decision alignment by establishing context and influencing outcomes.
Program & Project Governance, Compliance, Metrics & Risk Management
- Develop and maintain high‑quality governance artifacts, compliance, metrics, and reporting standards.
- Use data‑driven insights to assess progress, present options and trade‑offs, and influence decisions.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks and issues, adapting plans to evolving priorities.
Technical & Strategic Leadership
- Apply deep technical expertise to solve complex cross‑domain challenges and align product, platform, and engineering teams.
- Influence product roadmap prioritization and strategic alignment based on business and technical considerations.
- Lead large‑scale SaaS initiatives, leveraging multiple platforms, GenAI, automation, and tooling to improve delivery efficiency.
Culture, Mentorship & Continuous Improvement
- Foster a mentoring and coaching mindset, supporting the development of junior TPMs and cross‑functional partners.
- Promote a culture of learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement through knowledge sharing.
- Actively pursue and apply new tools, techniques, and learnings to evolve delivery models and strategy.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
- 12+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years with an advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, JD, MD), or 5+ years with a PhD.
- Extensive experience leading large scale enterprise SaaS programs and projects as a Principal Technical Program Manager within a centralized Portfolio/Program/Project organization.
- Experience partnering with C level or VP level stakeholders in highly matrixed organizations.
- Proven success as a senior individual contributor, independently managing ambiguity and driving outcomes.
- Experience leveraging GenAI, automation, and advanced tooling to enhance execution and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise-level PTPM operating models and best practices, including the definition of long‑term program roadmaps, stakeholder and communication frameworks, multi‑million‑dollar budget management, and the establishment of company‑wide accountability and compliance mechanisms.
- Strong executive communication, technical depth, and program governance expertise, including risk, dependency, and change management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product and platform strategy without direct authority.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 195,800.00 to 313,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
