Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Cybersecurity Analyst (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:

• Enhance product security through the design, implementation, and optimization of security architecture for web and mobile backend applications across the company.
• Develop and maintain a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers.
• Participate actively in the initial requirements phase to proactively identify potential security risks in the early stages of product development.
• Analyze the product's architecture to identify potential threats and risks, ensuring alignment with the company's security standards.
• Conduct thorough reviews of the application's architecture from a security perspective, with the primary goal of preventing any potential vulnerabilities from being exploited by malicious users.
• Take part in comprehensive security reviews and threat modeling, including in-depth design reviews, throughout the product's development lifecycle.
• Work diligently on enabling and building robust security measures to protect the applications from potential attacks.
• Position reports to the Employer’s Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Basic Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a cybersecurity analyst- or engineer-related occupation.
• Position requires experience in the following:
  • Software Engineering.
  • Application Security.
  • Networks & protocols.
  • Information Assurance.
  • Security tools for information security.
  • Network security.
  • Cloud security.
  • Information security management.
  • Threat modeling.
  • Software design & implementation.

Experience in the above skills can be gained through academic coursework and/or work experience.

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $161,400.00 USD to $258,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
