Job Details
Visa's Cyber Threat Analytics and Research team (CTAR) team is looking for a talented, curious, and energetic software/AI engineer who embraces solving complex challenges on a global scale. You will be an integral part of a cross-functional development team inventing, designing, building, critical Cyber Security products that will reach a global a customer base. In this position, you are a passionate builder who can work in a dynamic environment and dedicated to deliver production-ready code in short timeframes and willing to go beyond the routine.
Essential Functions
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Agentic AI application and APIs, using both front-end and back-end technologies.
Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software aligned with business requirements.
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing support for deployed applications.
Make trade-offs in an environment of often-conflicting objectives, e.g., deliver great experience to deadlines with fixed resources. Ruthless prioritization and an ability to focus on key issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience
- GenAI experience
- Python development experience
- Data Science experience

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 97,800.00 to 138,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
