Job Details

Produces content for products and services in various media types for a wide range of uses. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentation that translates highly technical language into that which is easy to understand, clear and logical. Plans, writes, designs and reviews relevant content for best-in-industry, easy-to-use customer product documentation, user reference materials and newsletters. Works on complex content and projects. Responsible for content of a product line and/or process. Acts as a mentor and provides training to less experienced writers. About the Role:
  • Research, write, edit, assemble, and update product and customer-facing documentation.

  • Translate complex source materials and data into clear, accessible content.
  • Produce guides, specifications, training materials, policies, procedures, newsletters, and user reference materials.
  • Coordinate documentation for product releases and ensure instructions are accurate and consistent.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, product managers, and analysts to gather requirements and validate content.
  • Verify citations, source data, and content accuracy across assigned products.
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure formatting, usability, readability, relevancy, and link functionality.
  • Apply taxonomy guidelines to classify and tag web content and documents.
  • Track industry and subject matter developments to update existing content and create new materials.
  • Develop documentation plans that define message, format, and content strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve products, processes, workflow, and content efficiency.
  • Provide peer review, coaching, training, and work direction to less experienced team members.
  • Participate in project planning and cross-functional meetings to support high-quality documentation delivery.
About You:
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content assembly skills.
  • Experience developing technical, product, or customer-facing documentation.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Strong research skills and ability to track trends and relevant developments.
  • Knowledge of editorial standards, documentation best practices, and quality review processes.
  • Experience validating citations, data, formatting, and content accuracy.
  • Ability to create clear, easy-to-use documentation and reference materials.
  • Familiarity with taxonomy/tagging guidelines and content classification.
  • Strong project coordination, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify workflow, process, and product improvement opportunities.
  • Confidence in training, coaching, or guiding less experienced team members.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and respond to user needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle work of diverse scope and complexity.
