We have an opportunity for a highly motivated HVAC Technician to join very dynamic program in a world-class operations facility. In this role, you will make an impact by providing operational support and facilities maintenance. Your primary responsibilities will include on-going preventative maintenance schedule, routine to complex troubleshooting, and required repair services.
You will work independently and as part of a team on a wide variety of tasks. You will assess circumstances and conditions to determine appropriate technical solutions in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, client specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards. You will present recommendations to and follow guidance from the supervisor and/or client through to the completion of the task. Other site duties, as required outside of trade, in support of specific mission related taskings will also be required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
General maintenance - perform maintenance service or repairs in areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, furniture moving, clean-up.
Machine and Equipment Maintenance - perform installation, troubleshooting and repairs for all facilities and production related equipment. Assist in planning, scheduling and performing scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance for facilities support and production equipment maintenance.
HVAC - Assist with Installs, troubleshooting and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Ensures preventative maintenance is performed per established schedules.
Electrical - Repairs, install, replaces and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances. Uses hand tools and testing instruments. Inspects, tests and repairs electrical equipment, lighting, switches, motors, etc.
Continuous Improvement - Participate in future site design modifications and upgrades. Analyze data to support design efforts for expansion capabilities or improve efficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Hands on experience working with mechanical and industrial equipment; electric motors, Pumps, PLCs, programming experience is a plus, cooling towers, chillers / compressors, switches and sensors, knowledge of electrical service.
Experience with mechanical systems (chiller plant, FCUs, air handlers, in-row coolers, VRF).
Experience in chilled water systems (CWS) to include chiller plant, pumps, valves, air handling units, fan coil units, and the associated infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
Project management skills with the ability collaborate with other professionals to achieve a successful outcome.
Familiarization with modifications with building management systems.
Crossed trained in other trades (Electrical, plumbing, structural, etc.) - Refrigerant license is a plus.
Journeyman license and/or 8+ years of relevant experience working with complex HVAC systems and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and building diagrams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
