We have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Commercial Finance Team. In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for completing tasks relating to Compliance and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). You will serve as the key financial liaison responsible for supporting in the preparation and analysis of the monthly ADS/LBE (Last Best Estimate), Plan, Update and LRP (Long Rage Plan) from a volume perspective. The compliance responsibilities include completion of month end accruals, review of actuals vs. budget, providing commentary on actuals and completing tasks relating to audits & SOX as required by Corporate Finance.
This role reports to the Finance Lead, Immunology, works very closely with the commercial team and is a key player in ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading and enhancing the monthly volume forecasting process, while providing support for scenario analysis and forecasting for new product launches.
- Assist, in preparation of the Plan, Update & LBE/ADS cycles of the Immunology Division.
- Responsible for completing the review, tracking and analysis of Immunology expenses.
- Provide financial information to groups supported regarding impacting goals.
- Assist Product Managers in establishing Plan, Update and LRP budgets.
- Work as needed with the Immunology Finance Manager and various internal AbbVie functional areas with Immunology POCNs and Contracts.
- Gathering data from multiple sources (eg. IQVIA, Patient Support Program, etc.) to understand patient and market dynamics for improved forecasting.
- Completing monthly accruals for Immunology working closely with Market Access, Customer Excellence (Trade), Marketing and Immunology Finance Manager.
- Maintenance and uploading of sales, expenses and other financial related data into the financial and demand planning systems.
- Review and approve invoices ensuring compliance and alignment to company policies
- Managing monthly SG&A expenses including Advertising & Promotion and other BU related expenses
- Providing monthly commentary of results vs. budget.
- Preparing monthly reconciliations of accounts.
- Perform Ad Hoc financial analysis upon request.
- Continuous process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA) preferred
- Four to five years of related work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of BPC, APT, SAP, Power BI and JDA considered an asset.
