Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Own the lifecycle of Data and AI Policy, including authoring, maintenance, and adoption across the business.
- Maintain the current Data Use Standard with its accompanying Standards and Playbooks, Publish and steward a company-wide AI Governance Standard and related operating procedures, keeping them current with global regulation.
- Embed policy into the product and project lifecycle, from intake and assessment through approval, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the policy perspective on the intake and evaluation framework from for new AI tools and vendor, and define the documentation and control expectations for external suppliers.
- Create plain-language playbooks for business domains (for example, People/HR and Finance) and deliver training and enablement.
- Coordinate timely, high‑quality responses to client and regulator inquiries, maintain a central log and service levels.
- Prepare clear, decision‑ready materials for senior leadership and risk governance forums.
- Define policy success measures (for example, percentage of AI use cases reviewed, time‑to‑approve new tools, and completion of mandatory training) and report progress.
- Establish criteria for AI‑related incidents and issues, and drive consistent escalation and post‑incident learning across teams.
- Coach and develop a high‑performing team, cultivate an inclusive, outcomes‑oriented culture
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
- Extensive experience, typically 12 or more years, across data and AI governance, technology policy, privacy, risk, or adjacent fields, including leadership of cross‑functional programs.
- Proven ability to translate principles and regulations into practical standards, controls, and operating routines adopted at scale.
- Strong grasp of global privacy requirements and emerging AI regulations, and how they apply to real‑world products and operations.
- Hands‑on experience integrating risk management for models and AI enabled systems into product development and supplier management.
- Exceptional communication skills with senior executives and technical and non‑technical audiences, skilled at clear writing and presenting.
- Track record building relationships across legal, privacy, security, engineering, product, and operations to deliver outcomes.
- Background in financial services, technology, or similarly regulated industries.
- Experience designing or operating assessment workflows for AI systems, for example, risk screening, documentation, fairness and robustness testing, or post‑deployment monitoring.
- Experience leading teams and developing talent in a global, matrixed environment.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 240,000.00 to 420,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
