Job Description

Visa, Inc. is seeking a Stock Plan Analyst to join our Global Equity Program team, based in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Visa’s global equity programs, including all aspects of equity recordkeeping, reporting, and reconciliation. The Stock Plan Analyst ensures the accuracy and integrity of all equity data within stock plan systems and works closely with employees and cross-functional partners to deliver a high-quality equity administration experience.

  • Administer and support multiple global equity plans, including Non-Qualified Stock Options, and Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP).
  • Process equity transactions such as grants, vesting, exercises, lapses, and cancellations, and support payroll and tax reporting related to equity events.
  • Maintain equity records across third-party stock plan administration platforms (experience with Bank of America/Merrill Employer Sponsor platform preferred).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, Payroll, Accounting, Audit, Financial Reporting, and Human Resources.
  • Support insider trading compliance programs, including monitoring blackout periods and trading activity.
  • Assist with SEC filings, 10b5-1 plans, stock ownership guideline compliance, and Section 16 reporting (Forms 3, 4, and 5), including proxy-related disclosures.
  • Coordinate with transfer agents and third-party administrators to ensure timely settlement of trades and reconciliation of DWAC and transfer agent activity.
  • Maintain stock plan documentation in support of internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and employee experiences related to equity programs.
  • Perform other duties related to the administration and ongoing enhancement of the equity programs.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience administering equity compensation programs at a public company.
  • Experience supporting global equity programs and multiple equity award types.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with a third-party outsourced stock administration system (Merrill Lynch system a plus)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-service mindset with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 1 or greater designation a plus.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 98,700.00 to 125,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
