This is for a full-time (40 hours/week) Telecommute position. The hours are Monday through Friday are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm an 8-hour shift to be determined by the hiring manager. No nights or Weekends.
Community and State of Colorado has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient focused and detailed oriented Associate Clinical Administrator Coordinator to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative intake of members
- Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers
- Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
- Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review
- Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of healthcare customer service experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word (ability to create, copy, edit, send and save documents), Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Microsoft
- 1+ year of customer service or healthcare related experience
- Reside in the state of Colorado
- Reside in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high - speed internet connection or leverage an existing high - speed internet service
- Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work at home experience
- Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
- Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Experience working in a call center

- Ability to work independently and as a team, and maintain good judgment and accountability
- Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines
