Job DescriptionWe are in search of an experienced Product Manager who possesses a deep understanding of how ServiceNow Platform features work. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in Product management, with a strong background in ServiceNow platform implementation and optimization. Excellent communication skills, clarity of thought, creative thinking, and execution capabilities are essential for this role. While not mandatory, ServiceNow Certification is considered a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Enhancement:
- Develop and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ServiceNow Platform Features aligned with organization's business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from cross functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize feature enhancements & solutions based on customer needs, market trends, and platform capabilities.
- ServiceNow Platform Expertise:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform to architect, configure, and optimize custom solutions.
- Stay updated on new platform features, updates, and best practices to ensure the product remains innovative and competitive.
- Have had hands-on Service Now Platform.
- Innovative Thinking and Ideation:
- Drive innovation by continuously exploring new ideas and opportunities to enhance the base product and address evolving customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, prototype, and validate new features and capabilities.
- Enhance the current solution development process
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and project statuses effectively to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
- Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand pain points, needs, and preferences.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow Platform, providing guidance and support to sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Leadership and Mentorship
- Mentor and guide junior product managers and other team members, providing direction and support in their professional development.
- Act as a thought leader within the product management function, sharing best practices and nurturing development within team.
- Accountability
- Own the deliverables End to End with committed deadlines
- Make informed decisions with stakeholders and cross functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree like MBA is preferred.
- Overall 6-8 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Consulting and/or Pre-Sales experience, with a focus on ServiceNow platform solutions with any Workflow Module.
- Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Creative thinker with a track record of driving innovation and bringing new ideas to market.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) is an added advantage.
- History in building demos for or selling into any ServiceNow Solutions would be desired.
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies is preferred.
