Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to join our our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Supply Chain team across multiple Thermal & Electric Solutions (T&ES) sites responsible for Procurement and Delivery Assurance of production and non-production material

  • Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance

  • Lead the integration of T&ES sites to Collins policies, procedures and best practices

  • Ensure team targets and goals are achieved

  • Responsible for team compliance, processes, procedures, and training requirements

  • Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems

  • Coordinate sourcing and negotiations of supplier agreements

  • Monitor and facilitate supplier selection and supplier management processes

  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a skilled team

  • Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance on developmental opportunities for team

  • Lead and support strategic projects in support of facility and company goals

  • Create and present metrics and supporting reports and presentations to internal customers, suppliers, peers, and managers

  • Collaborate with Quality to develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution and on time delivery product

  • Oversee team responsible for performing procurement of purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all FAR/DFAR regulatory and corporate requirements

  • Primary capabilities in procurement such as the following will be needed:

  • Preparation of solicitations

  • Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques.

  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)

  • Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity

  • Performs other duties as required

  • Able to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security government issued security clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations

  • (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
