DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Production Coordinator - 3rd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Independent Operation : Operate machines and production equipment independently, ensuring quality and productivity requirements are met safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Safety Advocacy : Promote health, safety, and environmental standards by stopping work to report major hazards, using personal protective equipment, and engaging in HSE training.
- Quality Assurance : Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and poka-yoke. Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.
- Production Efficiency : Achieve production goals by operating equipment proficiently, maintaining cycle times, and performing planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- Team Leadership : Instruct and coach others, acting as an informal resource for team members with less capability, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Problem Solving : Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to identify and repair equipment issues, contributing to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Continuous Improvement : Participate actively in initiatives to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development, ensuring ongoing personal and professional growth.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Compensation:
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
