DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Computer / Microsoft Office skills - ability to create detailed documents and presentations
Project management - ability to manage time and various tasks to deliver results on time
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 19 hours per week.
- M-F (Flexible), 15 – 19 hours a week, before or after school
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a program that aligns with a School to Work opportunity and long-term career at Cummins.
- Must pass online application and screening process.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail is needed
- Excellent teamwork skills needed to excel in fast-paced, team-focused environment
Education, Licenses, Certification
- High School:
- Must be at least a junior in high school and 17 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in an ICE (Interdisciplinary Cooperative Education) program if participating in School to Work program during school hours.
- Must be recommended by school administration or current Cummins employee.
- Must have a minimum of 2.0 GPA.
- Students are not allowed to work if absent from school.
- Post-Secondary:
- Must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
- Must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
- Summer Hire:
- Must be at least a junior in high school and 17 years of age.
- Must be recommended by school administration or current Cummins employee.
- Must be enrolled fulltime in a post-secondary institution (or have intentions of enrolling fulltime for the following fall semester).
