After spending many years fighting the good fight to create empowered, diverse teams delivering great products, I found myself burned out and frustrated by the changes that I fought so hard for. The changes were largely unappreciated by people outside of the team because their values just weren’t fully aligned. This led me to focus on cultivating relationships with communities that embrace similar values at their foundation, eliminating the need to fight for change and instead focusing on creating impact. These communities gave me the support, energy, and inspiration to start building my own business and community with Carefully, allowing me to further integrate my values into my work and my life. I look forward to sharing my ongoing journey with you.

In these unprecedented times, Carefully’s mission to help families find balance and build connections within their communities has become even more critical, as the need for managing childcare costs and options have quickly become headline news.
