The Gift of Wisdom: Staying relevant by sharing our knowledge and wisdom at work

We are in the midst of an extraordinary transition that few of us are prepared for, a transition that offers the gift of wisdom. Just as globalization and technology changed the way people lived and worked, the increasing longevity will do the same.

In just one hundred years, we have doubled our life expectancy which is offering us the opportunity to Evolve, Learn, Collaborate, and Counsel as we get more mature and experienced.

According to Chip Conley, “Adolescence” and “retirement” were 20th-century inventions. In the new emerging workplace, many of us are full of wisdom and curiosity, searching for meaning, not retirement. We all get older but nothing prevents us from becoming wiser.
