Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Master Data Architect to design, deliver, and oversee the implementation of robust master data management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering end-to-end master data solutions, ensuring the effective management and integration of critical master data elements such as Customer Master, Vendor Master, Product Master, and other key data domains typically found in SAP implementations. While SAP MDG experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. This role will play a vital role in ensuring data integrity, consistency, and availability across the enterprise.
This is a remote contract position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of master data architecture strategies and solutions.
- Define and drive data governance, data quality, and data integration strategies for critical master data domains, including Customer Master, Vendor Master, Product Master, and other core data elements.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand master data requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Oversee the integration of master data across SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Establish and enforce master data standards, policies, and procedures to drive data integrity and minimize redundancy.
- Collaborate with solution architects, data analysts, and technical teams to implement and optimize data integration processes.
- Support data migration activities, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation, to ensure a smooth transition to target environments.
- Implement data quality measurement frameworks to monitor, report, and improve the health of master data across systems.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, security protocols, and internal control requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data management teams, supporting the development of technical skills and knowledge.
