Skills and Competencies
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze system processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Technical Proficiency: Desire to learn more about HR Information Systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone OnDemand, etc) preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to resolve system issues and incidents.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements and provide support.
- Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles desired.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Education
Pursuing a Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Ideally one year ahead of graduation.

Responsibilities
Learn & grow in tech management by supporting the Digital People Systems team. Supports Moody’s People systems enhancements & system issues for Moody’s.
Function Focus
The intern will primarily assist in enhancing DPS processes and systems, support existing procedures, and participate in project management activities. This includes liaising with internal and external teams, system configuration, testing, and documentation.
Current Job Description
The role involves supporting the DPS team in managing and improving HR systems and processes across Moody’s. Responsibilities include system maintenance, issue resolution, process documentation, and participation in system enhancements and project implementations.
Outcomes and Complexity
The intern will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of People systems, impacting the overall operational excellence of Moody’s. Tasks will vary in complexity, from routine system checks to participating in strategic project implementations.
Autonomy Level
The role operates with guided independence, requiring the ability to work under supervision while also taking initiative in problem-solving and project tasks.
Logical Order
Support existing systems and processes.

About the team
The Digital People Systems (DPS) team at Moody's is a pivotal unit within the People Team, dedicated to optimizing and maintaining the technological infrastructure that supports the organization's human resources and talent management functions. This team is responsible for many systems, including the SuccessFactors HCM, Cornerstone Learning Management Systems (LMS), recruitment and onboarding tools, and performance and recognition software. The intern's role within this dynamic team is multifaceted, contributing to the enhancement of existing processes and the successful implementation of new system functionalities. Working closely with team members and stakeholders, the intern is positioned to gain comprehensive insights into the management of HR systems, playing a crucial role in supporting the DPS team's mission to deliver robust, efficient solutions that meet the evolving needs of Moody’s organization. Through this internship, the individual will collaborate across departments, leveraging technology to streamline HR operations and enhance the employee experience at Moody's.
