Division Profile:
The Wealth Management GenAI Team is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of AI enablement across Wealth Management. The team is responsible for deploying advanced tools, platforms, and solutions that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. We oversee content creation, management, and governance to ensure the highest content quality for our AI system to utilize. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and evolution in this rapidly changing space. Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated AI@MS Technical Business Analyst to support the development, testing, and release of Generative AI products within Morgan Stanley. This role will focus on execution, coordination, and validation activities across the product lifecycle, including UAT support, release readiness, squad operations, and post-deployment verification. The AI@MS Technical Business Analyst will work closely with the Product Owners, technology teams, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of product releases.

This role requires flexibility, creativity in problem solving, and the ability to identify and implement operational efficiencies that improve both advisor and client experiences. Success in this position requires diligence, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:
> Assist in managing squad-related activities such as defining epics, aligning user stories to epics, maintaining Jira hygiene, and supporting backlog organization
> Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation activities during code freeze, including test execution, issue tracking, and sign-off coordination
> Partner with QA and technology teams to track defects, validate fixes, and ensure release readiness
> Support coordination of business checkouts, go/no-go decisions, and post-deployment verification activities
> Assist in planning and executing release activities, including preparation of release notes and support release communications to end users and stakeholders
> Help document requirements, dependencies, and assumptions in collaboration with the Product Owners and business teams
> Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
> Monitor post-release feedback and usage data to help identify issues, risks, and enhancement opportunities
> Work closely with technology to coordinate and plan product releases aligned to interdependent teams and relevant approvals
> Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop user flows, wireframes, and visual design

Experience:
> 3-5.5 years of professional experience as a business analyst, product analyst, or similar role, preferably in financial services
> Experience with Generative AI, machine learning, or data-driven technology initiatives preferred
> Experience supporting complex platform releases with multiple interdependent teams preferred
> Ideally, candidate will have experience with control, risk, or compliance considerations in enterprise technology platforms

Skills Required:
> Strong understanding of Agile delivery models and experience working with Jira
> Strong ability to understand and explain business requirements, user journeys, generative AI use cases, user stories, and epics
> Genuine interest and passion for learning generative AI
> Ability to analyze requirements, track dependencies, and manage execution-oriented tasks across multiple stakeholders
> Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience supporting stakeholder communications
> Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, developers, QA, and business users
