As part of an evolving EMEA structure, we are strengthening our governance of indirect channels and are looking for an Indirect Channel Management, Lead Specialist (ICM) to support and further professionalize our indirect channel network in Italy within ICM Operational EMEA Team.

This Lead Specialist of Indirect Channel Management (ICM) will support the development and execution of strategies for all Indirect Channels in Italy. The role will assist ICM Senior Managers in achieving channel management targets through efficient collaboration and effective management of systems and processes.
 

The role will require cross functional collaboration and commercial focused, working with Sr. ICM Manager Operational Team to ensure implementing global standards on ICs within EMEA. This Lead Specialist will also support ensuring continuous improvement in how channel partners are managed for both performance growth and operating with robust compliance standards.

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and process excellence, working closely with local and EMEA stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant indirect channel operations.
Responsibilities are within the Sales Support and Administration function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.


The Job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information.


What you will do

As Indirect Channel Management Lead Specialist, you will support the development and execution of the indirect channel strategy ensuring alignment with global and EMEA ICM standards. You will play a key role in driving governance, compliance, and operational excellence across the indirect channel lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Supports IC Sponsors (RSM/TM) and Indirect Channel partners on governance, compliance and operational processes within the ICM scope.
  • Support end-to-end Indirect Channel Management (ICM) operational processes, including selection, contracting, onboarding, annual certification, monitoring of support cases, trainings, and performance evaluation, in line with global ICM standards and procedures.
     
  • Ensure full adherence to local legal, regulatory, financial, and compliance requirements, proactively mitigating risks and ensuring governance consistency.
     
  • Drive and coordinate functional inputs across Legal, Compliance, Finance, RAQA, and Commercial teams to support effective operational management of indirect channel governance, ensuring consistent implementation of global ICM standards and processes, in partnership with the local ICM Managers.
     
  • Execute the local rollout of global ICM policies, processes, and tools, ensuring accurate documentation, contract tracking, and data maintenance within ICM systems (e.g. IC-Hub).
     
  • Support indirect channel lifecycle management by coordinating required reviews, approvals, and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal governance and local regulatory requirements.
     
  • Interact directly with indirect channel partners to support onboarding activities, documentation collection, process clarification, and ongoing operational communications, in alignment with approved governance frameworks.

  • Manage and support indirect channel training activities within IC Learn, including training assignment, communication to ICs, monitoring of completion status, ongoing reminders and support to IC Sponsors and ICs to ensure timely completion.

  • Collaborate with Finance ICM on shared activities related to indirect channel performance, supporting applicable situations and business requirements.
     
  • Conduct indirect channel structure and performance analysis, preparing reports and summaries to support channel management and business decision-making, and participate in Indirect Channel Performance Reviews (IC PRs) together with the local ICM Senior Manager.
     
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations Analysts (SOA) and Business Enablement Solutions (BES) teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and effective data usage across reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI - Lynx and SophIC and IC Hub).
     
  • Collaborate with other internal functions within the scope of ICM Management, such as Pricing, Customer Care, and Asset Management, in various situations impacting the management of ICs.
     
  • Coordinate the management of IC-related issues and Support Cases (SCs), tracking actions, maintaining documentation, and supporting timely resolution and communication with all relevant stakeholders.
     
  • Support the development and communication of clear process flows, standards, and expectations to internal stakeholders and indirect channel partners.
     
  • Facilitate and support business unit and cross-functional meetings to ensure understanding and consistent execution of global ICM standards together with the local ICM Senior Manager.
     
  • Drive adoption and proper use of ICM platforms, ensuring alignment between local systems and EMEA standards.
     
  • Support the development and monitoring of robust ICM Key metrics, workflows, and reporting tools to enable data-driven decision-making.
     
  • Contribute to evaluation, and development of indirect channel partners, ensuring alignment with Stryker’s values and compliance requirements.
     
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, traceability, scalability, and operational excellence.
     
  • Participate in local and regional projects and initiatives related to indirect channel governance and operational improvement, contributing to efficient and compliant IC operations.
     
  • Support digital, data-driven, and AI-enabled initiatives designed to enhance compliance, control, and transparency across the indirect channel ecosystem.
     
  • Support the preparation of training and communication materials related to IC standards, governance, and lifecycle management and contribute to the execution of trainings (SPP) in partnership with BES Team.
     
  • Support and educate the business regarding the contractual clauses stipulated in GX agreements, together with the local Senior ICM Managers.
     
  • Provide operational support for indirect channel-related activities in the context of mergers & acquisitions, and divestitures (M&A); Audit and Functional GX Assessments in line with established ICM policies and procedures.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Economics, Management, Law, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of professional experience preferably in roles related to indirect channel management across sales channel management such as Compliance, legal or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree, particularly in Business Law, Compliance, Business Administration.
  • Healthcare industry work experience.
  • Experience working in an international organization
  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Spanish knowledge preferred
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA, with specific focus within Italy.
  • Experience with ICM platforms, governance tools, or partner lifecycle management systems (e.g. CRM/Workflow/ERP Tools/Salesforce)
  • Excellent inter-personal, analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex processes.
