Job DescriptionYour Role:
As an integral part of the regional corporate properties team, the Manager, Corporate Properties is required to liaise closely with all key business partners, stakeholders, facilities management partner (Macro) and other vendors across the portfolio of Invesco offices within the Americas region to ensure office locations are maintained, operational and fit for purpose.
This position reports to the Director of Corporate Properties Americas and supports the Americas Regional Corporate Properties team in all aspects of property management and operational matters.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Undertake and manage the execution of tasks related to maintaining operational and facilities management services across the portfolio of Invesco occupied offices in the Americas region.
- Ensure the daily facility management duties undertaken by Invesco’s Facilities Management Partner (Macro) and other vendors are executed to an exemplary standard throughout the Americas regional locations.
- AS required, support the Director of Corporate Properties and regional team in the preparation of annual operational budgets and manage monthly expenditures accordingly.
- Review, and approve department invoices, purchase orders up to $25,000, and review monthly APS rent payments for accuracy and forward to Director of Corporate Properties for approval.
- Maintain departmental standards and procedures. Provide functional and timely management information.
- Support the Regional Corporate Properties team to engender a culture where the team are motivated to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Oversee LEED, ISO14001 or other health, safety and environmental (HSE) initiatives where appropriate.
- As directed, serve on project teams, coordinate with vendors, building management as required to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- As directed, effectively manage all functions/services to performance and financial targets.
The Experience You Bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience directly related to working in a facilities management or commercial office operations related environment.
- Very good communication and organizational skills and ability to promote an ethos of team work to instill a culture of continuous improvement.
- Extensive experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
- Team player with the ability to coordinate initiatives across geographic locations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; a hands-on, with good organizational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Very good written and oral communication skills and ability to keep confidential information.
- Flexibility to travel throughout the Americas Region office locations, when required.
Preferred requirements:
- Ideally educated to degree level, with relevant facilities, project management or construction background and experience.
- Membership of BIFM or other relevant facilities or construction accreditation desirable.
