Job Details
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead Hong Kong’s marketing strategy across multiple key franchises, overseeing portfolio management, market access, and commercial execution. This high‑impact role partners closely with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and regional Marketing teams to deliver portfolio growth and successful product launches. You will also represent Hong Kong Marketing at the regional level, ensuring local market needs are championed and aligned with broader APAC strategies.
What You Will Do
Product & Portfolio Management
- Define and execute full product lifecycle strategies, including launch plans and phase‑out (PLCM) management.
- Develop portfolio strategies encompassing product positioning, pricing, procedure definitions, tender combinations, and go‑to‑market planning.
- Coordinate demand and supply needs with cross‑functional teams to support commercial execution.
- Build strong connections across local, regional, and divisional marketing teams to drive collaboration, secure resources, and support growth.
Business Strategy
- Develop the annual marketing plan, including resource allocation aligned with business priorities.
- Define market access strategies leveraging robust market intelligence.
- Lead CER planning, budgeting, and timeline management.
- Advise on commercial models and sales strategy to enable business expansion.
- Collaborate with Sales, RA, and other functions to drive prioritized product launches.
Market Analysis & Strategic Insight
- Lead market research activities to assess customer needs, competitor dynamics, and broader industry trends.
- Conduct detailed market and financial analyses using data sources such as IMS, inventory metrics, and margin performance.
- Develop market access tactics to maximize reach and adoption of products and solutions.
Marketing Activities, Education & KOL Engagement
- Define and execute marketing and medical education programs aligned with short‑ and long‑term business objectives.
- Design training programs for internal teams, customers, and KOLs.
- Lead KOL development and engagement strategies to support portfolio growth.
People Leadership & Development
- Coach, mentor, and develop marketing team members to strengthen capability and performance.
- Build a high‑performance culture and lead cross‑department collaboration.
- Foster strong employee engagement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of experience across Sales and Marketing in the Hong Kong medical device industry.
- Experience managing diverse product portfolios, with strong exposure to endoscopy/visualization or surgical instruments.
- Demonstrated experience executing marketing strategies in partnership with Sales and cross‑functional teams.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving cross‑functional collaboration.
- Experience working with KOLs and healthcare stakeholders.
- Prior experience in product launches across multiple franchises.
