About the Department / Team

The Global Compliance team plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of Invesco’s operations worldwide. Based primarily in Atlanta, with senior leaders and professionals across multiple offices, the department is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.

About the Role: 

Provides executive-level administrative support to the Global Head of Compliance, and several Compliance Senior Leaders (mostly located in Atlanta, but some in other offices), as determined.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Global Head of Compliance, Compliance Senior Leaders, and other designees.

  • Maintain calendars and schedules for meetings, appointments, travel, conference calls, etc.

  • Coordinate visits, meetings, interviews, departmental meetings, etc.

  • Coordinate internal/external meetings including booking conference rooms, scheduling with participants, working with Technology on audio/visual needs, catering, etc.

  • Book travel domestic and international; and manage expense reimbursement reports.

  • Monitor and distribute all incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail and email).

  • Maintain electronic and paper files.

  • Create and edit agendas, presentations, and other materials for meetings.

  • Conduct general research, compile information, and prepare presentations for Invesco senior leaders, internal clients, and others as directed.

  • Proactively identify and implement additional opportunities to support the Global Head of Compliance and Senior Leaders.

  • Provide backup support for other Administrative Assistants within LCAR when required.

  • Provide support for special projects as assigned and directed.

Requirements for the Role

  • 7+ years of administrative or professional office experience.

  • A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.

  • Familiarity with the investment management industry is a plus but is not required.

  • Familiarity with a variety of compliance concepts, practices and procedures preferred but is not required.

  • Ability to quickly learn other software products and use of new tools, such as Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools which may be utilized in this position.

  • Comfortable supporting those working in other offices.

  • Familiarity with working with a global team preferred but is not required.

  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to anticipate leaders’ needs; and support leaders with limited direction and follow up as needed.

  • Flexibility; the ability to set priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Expert level verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle and manage multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively while maintaining a customer service-oriented attitude in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Highest level of integrity and ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive material in a highly professional manner.

  • Mature judgment, willingness to take responsibility, and initiative to make decisions within the scope of responsibilities.
