We’re seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team in Non-Financial Risk Technology to the Assurance & Legal Technology Department is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our global Enterprise Compliance Technology team. The primary responsibility of this individual is to drive strategic, functional, and technical agenda for an integrated Complaints Management platform and act as a BA/PM/SM leveraging technical, analytical, and problem-solving background to help drive the team's output to success.

This is Director Position that analyses business processes, identifies needs, and establishes requirements to enhance efficiency and productivity through a blend of business acumen and analytical skills.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • The ideal candidate should have a technical background with experience of managing complex technology projects and interfacing with multiple senior stakeholders across organization, be a self-driven, dedicated individual who works well in a team and thinks and acts strategically.

  • In addition, the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts in an ever-moving regulatory landscape.

  • When faced with a problem, the candidate should be able to ask questions and leverage the skill set of those around him/her.

  • This role offers the opportunity to extend one's technical knowledge with challenging projects and the use of new technologies, while enjoying access to experts in the wide range of domains and best practices at Morgan Stanley. The qualified candidate will also have an opportunity to expand on their knowledge of the financial services industry through our business stakeholders and industry activities and events.

  • Moreover, they will be working in an open environment where everyone can express their views and make significant contributions.

  • The candidate must be a business analyst with excellent strategic outlook and proven track record of delivering technology solutions which optimally meet customer needs.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role with hands on experience and proven delivery success. Previous experience architecting solutions that integrate with vendor platforms is highly preferred.

  • Strong leadership skills, at least 5+ years of experience managing global cross-functional teams independently and with minimal oversight.

  • Experience designing and implementing complex multi-tenant technology solutions based on leading market products, preferably in Compliance domains.

  • Proven ability to use strong industry knowledge to understand client needs, design competitive solutions, and successfully partner with multiple clients who are sharing the same technology platform.

  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues and effectively communicate and manage possible resolutions.

  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies - Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross cultural teams located globally.

  • Willingness to take ownership and accountability to execute and deliver on goals, strong commitment to high quality standards. - Excellent time management skills, ability to efficiently prioritize and multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines and team objectives.

  • Proven ability to take ownership and challenge status-quo, improve process and drive results. - Strong team spirit and relationship management skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change. - Knowledge of Finance products or previous experience within an Investment Bank is a plus.

  • Hands-on experience with full stack web application development, including Java, SQL, and frontend technologies is a plus.
