We enable this transformation by delivering best-in-class reporting, analytics, and insights, spanning executive-level dashboards to frontline tooling, to drive strategy and execution across Agent Software & Advertising and Preferred businesses.
Our work supports core Zillow offerings including Zillow Showcase, ShowingTime, Dotloop, and key components of the Premier Agent ecosystem, with a strong focus on revenue growth, customer health, and product adoption.

About the role

Zillow is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to create compelling visualizations, conduct rigorous analysis, and, most importantly, generate insights that drive action for Executive Leadership at Zillow Group.

This role owns visualization and analytics focused on customer health and/or customer value, including our L1 and L2 metrics—the key indicators used to measure business performance and enable executive-level inspection and auditing across Agent Software & Advertising and Preferred. These insights directly inform strategic decisions related to

  • Growing Zillow Showcase listings

  • Increasing the number of Preferred Partners to drive Zillow Home Loans (ZHL) revenue

  • Expanding Zillow Pro, including adoption of Dotloop, ShowingTime, ZMX, and related products

The Business Intelligence Manager will partner closely with Sales, Preferred, Customer Success, Product, and GTM leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives aligned to Zillow’s long-term growth strategy.

Success in this role requires strong business acumen, operational rigor, professionalism, strategic thinking, and advanced problem-solving skills, along with deep proficiency in data analytics and executive storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

As Business Intelligence Manager, you'll be part of a talented team at the intersection of technology, finance, and real estate. Your leadership will:

  • Design and build sophisticated Tableau dashboards and visualizations that track business performance, uncover trends, and deliver actionable insights to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization

  • Leverage deep Tableau expertise and data visualization best practices to transform complex datasets into intuitive, executive-ready dashboards that tell compelling business stories

  • Partner with Customer Success teams to establish the right metrics and create actionable dashboards that surface customer insights, improve retention and satisfaction, and optimize overall performance

  • Foster cross-functional alignment across Product, Data Science, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Experience teams by delivering clear, actionable insights that enhance strategic decision-making and operational effectiveness

  • Communicate complex analyses and strategies to executive leadership

  • Create scalable self-service analytical models to be used by product, operations, marketing, and executive partners in analyzing both the current state of the business and a suite of forward-looking options.

  • Identify critical knowledge gaps through data exploration and address them with rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, translating findings into clear visual insights

  • Perform data analysis and validation for creation, and ongoing curation, of recurring business and operational reports, dashboards, and valuable business insights, including curation and analysis of KPIs and SLAs, for recurring operations and ad hoc strategy/operations projects.

  • Dive into vast amounts of untapped data to identify, refine, communicate, and launch new business opportunities at a rapid pace.
