We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Governance Control Associate to join our Model and EUC Governance team within the Finance Division. This is a unique opportunity to work globally across all risk stripes—credit, market, operational, liquidity, and model risk. You will engage closely with model/EUC developers and reviewers, and collaborate across various business and functional areas within the firm. Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Documentation Management

  • Maintain Inventories: Oversee the inventory of all models, tools, and EUCs within Finance, ensuring comprehensive and accurate records through effective stakeholder management.

  • Documentation Oversight: Monitor documentation status to ensure completion and manage the broader model certification and exception processes.

2. Framework Execution & Support

  • Framework Support: Assist in executing the model control and EUC frameworks, ensuring adherence to governance, documentation standards, and policies.

  • Insightful Reporting: Provide valuable input to the Reporting team for preparing presentation materials for model committees and regulatory exams, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

3. Communication & Risk Management

  • Effective Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication and reporting to functional teams, managers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

  • Risk Identification: Proactively identify emerging risks and contribute to strategies for mitigating them.

4. Leadership & Cultural Contribution

  • Role Model: Act as a role model and culture carrier, embodying the Firm's values and holding yourself and others accountable to Firm standards.

What You'll Bring:

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to solve complex problems and work with intricate datasets.

  • Communication Excellence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to develop rapport at all levels with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing environments quickly and effectively.

  • Cross-Regional Interaction: Ability to interact across regions and work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Finance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Finance functional area, products, client segments, and industry environment.

  • Independent Operation: Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities.

  • Feedback & Innovation: Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes.

  • Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience is generally expected to possess the skills required for this role.
