DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Facing Engineering:
- Consult with end customers and distributors to understand technical requirements.
- Provide engineering recommendations and value engineering solutions.
- Develop submittal drawings and operational philosophy documentation.
- Support customer-facing problem resolution and change management.
System Design & Hardware Development:
- Create AutoCAD Electrical drawings and design documentation.
- Develop and release Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Prepare shop folder documentation for manufacturing.
- Generate high-quality technical documentation and as-built drawings.
- Follow the project schedule and ensure on-time deliverables.
Product & Process Engineering:
- Apply tools like ESW, iDFMEA, 7-Step Problem Solving, and FIRG to ensure product integrity.
- Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Interface with multiple stakeholders (suppliers, manufacturing, purchasing, etc.) to ensure quality product decisions.
- Contribute to technical reviews and cross-functional design integration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field.
- Post-graduate degree (preferred for select roles).
- AutoCAD Electrical experience is mandatory .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

QUALIFICATIONS
Desired Experience
- 6+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Internships, co-ops, or extracurricular technical project experience are strongly preferred.
- Experience with generator sets, control panels, switchgear, or electronic controls is a plus.
- Exposure to manufacturing and product development environments.
Technical Skills
- Electrical power distribution systems understanding.
- Knowledge of generator set and switchgear/control panel design.
- Competency in statistical methods and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with open/closed loop control systems.
- Application of systems thinking to solve complex technical problems.
