We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

  • Cross Functional Leadership: Skilled at influencing and aligning product, engineering, sales, marketing, and analytics teams around shared goals—driving clarity, momentum, and accountability across the organisation
  • Exceptional Communication & Storytelling: Adept at framing problems, articulating vision, simplifying complexity, and inspiring internal and external audiences through strong narrative and data-backed communication
  • Advanced Analytical & Business Case Development Skills: Comfortable evaluating market opportunities, conducting competitive assessments, modelling business impact, and informing strategic investment decisions
  • Innovation Mindset: Constantly seeking new ideas, technologies, and data enabled opportunities, with the ability to lead proofs of concept and guide experimentation to validate emerging concepts
  • AI Fluency: Strong understanding of GenAI applications, data models, and AI-enabled enhancements, and how these tools elevate product capabilities, workflows, and customer experience
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: Able to develop trusted partnerships across senior leadership and external stakeholders, navigating competing priorities while maintaining alignment and influencing outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Holds an undergraduate degree in a business-related field; an MBA or other graduate degree is preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, product, and the compliance / KYC / third-party risk industry

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Market & Competitive Intelligence: Proactively analyse market trends, regulatory developments, customer needs, and competitor strategies to identify whitespace, risks, and long-term opportunities that guide strategic direction
  • Own the Product Vision & Roadmap: Define a clear, compelling vision for the Compliance/third-party risk product portfolio, translating customer problems into a prioritised roadmap focused on high-value outcomes and long-term growth
  • Shape Value Proposition & Positioning: Develop differentiated messaging, use case frameworks, and customer driven value propositions that reinforce Moody’s leadership across compliance and risk management workflows
  • Drive Strategic Investment Decisions: Build business cases with financial modelling, customer insight, and competitive analysis to support product investments, build/buy/partner decisions, and resource allocation
  • Guide Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with commercial teams to refine pricing, ideal customer profiles, market segmentation, and launch strategies, ensuring the product narrative resonates and drives adoption
  • Lead Innovation & Discovery Initiatives: Drive exploratory workstreams, experiments, and proofs of concept, particularly around AI-driven features and emerging compliance challenges, validating new opportunities before scaling
  • Partner for Execution & Portfolio Clarity: Collaborate closely with product management and engineering to ensure customer problems are well-defined, requirements are clear, and the product portfolio remains cohesive and scalable
  • Monitor Performance & Inform Future Strategy: Define key performance indicators, track commercial and user outcomes, and use insights to refine direction, enhance product effectiveness, and identify next stage growth levers
