DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
Supports the customer-facing sales force through the complete rhythm of sales, from lead generation to order closure. This role works under supervision and follows clearly defined, well-documented procedures to provide sales coordination, customer engagement, reporting, and order-processing support for primary and secondary sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming electronic customer enquiries (emails, online forms, system-generated requests) and escalate to a more experienced Inside Sales Coordinator when required.
- Support the customer-facing sales team by compiling budgetary quotes, including technical data, customer presentations, lead times, and related information.
- Contribute to the planning, scheduling, and execution of customer visits, meetings, and customer events where processes are well documented and repetitive.
- Support order processing activities including order entry, order acknowledgements, invoicing, and shipping notices for simple and standard transactions.
- Run and distribute standard reports related to order status, inventory levels, sales pipeline, and other associated information.
- Route identified customer issues to the appropriate internal teams and follow up to support timely resolution, including shipment and after-sales concerns.
- Periodically report inventory and stock levels using defined systems and processes.
- Provide back-up support to branch personnel for retail sales activities where tasks are standardized and well documented.
- Support primary and secondary sales initiatives through channel engagement programs such as Reborer & Mitwa Connect, Fleet Connect, and Retailer Connect.
- Adhere to Cummins sales processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience as permitted by applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing or authorization to comply with export control or sanctions regulations.

- Knowledge of primary and secondary sales processes and channel-based sales models.
- Familiarity with Reborer & Mitwa Connect, Fleet Connect, and Retailer Connect programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- Minimal or no prior work experience required.
- Exposure to sales support, customer service, or coordination roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn Cummins products, systems, and sales processes.
