Job Description

Job Purpose
Covers operations and related activities. Provides operational support to the asset management business and/or products. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with the ETF Fixed Income investment teams. The Analyst will be responsible for assessing business intelligence and operations that directly support global portfolio management processes.


The Analyst will support one or more of the five practices within FOO, which include:

Investment Platform Management
Portfolio Monitoring
Trade Implementation
Client and Product Lifecycle
Regulatory and Policy Implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of data integrity processes (IBOR pricing, cash positions, corporate actions) to ensure accurate start of day portfolio management.

  • Experience in Performance analysis (Benchmark Tolerances), Cash management (FX, Hedge Programs, Distributions), and Trade support (custom orders and baskets).

  • Proactive in identifying and resolving operational issues, ensuring clean trading and pricing data for PM decision-making.

  • Partners strategically with regional PMs and SMEs across global time zones.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to liaise effectively with investment teams, trading desks, and technology partners.

  • Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco’s Conduct principles.

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for role:

  • Experience with front-office applications is preferred (Aladdin, CRD, Bloomberg).

Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of various asset classes (ETFs, Fixed Income, Equity).

  • Knowledge of investment business, buy-side processes and investment products.

  • Proficiency in Excel (including macros), SQL, and Python coding is a plus.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and software.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications; capable of writing clear and cohesive documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred

  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

  • Proactive learner with strong curiosity

The salary range for this position in Illinois is $50,000 - $75,000/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
