We are looking for a talented Quality Analyst to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Bolingbrook, IL.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Data Accuracy and Integrity: Gather, verify, and input critical information into reports, presentations, and organizational systems to maintain precision and reliability.
- Drive Informed Decision-Making: Conduct research and prepare statistical reports that provide valuable insights to support departmental goals and strategies.
- Streamline Operations: Manage scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination to keep workflows efficient and organized for the team.
- Enhance Responsiveness: Promptly address or redirect internal and external inquiries, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication.
- Support Financial Processes: Prepare and submit vendor payment documentation, helping reduce delays and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintain Organizational Standards: Document and update departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistency and clarity across operations.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate in business improvement projects and team initiatives that optimize departmental performance and effectiveness.
- Provide Reliable Administrative Backbone: Consistently execute routine administrative tasks, enabling the team to focus on strategic priorities and achieve success.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

This role is 100% on site at the Cummins Chicago Regional Distribution Center - 315 Internationale Drive Bolingbrook, IL 60440
This on-site Chicago RDC Quality Analyst role will have responsibility for:
- Processing returns from Cummins Sales and Service locations for the Chicago region, managing the disposition of returned products to sellable inventory.
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of returns to meet CSSNA and RDC expectations.
- Partnering with warehouse team to ensure organizational/5S and FIFO practices are adopted and sustained in the quality area.
- Reporting required metrics at designated intervals, identifying process improvement opportunities and addressing them properly with stakeholders.
- Managing relationship with key stakeholders; including internal leadership, operations partners, Cummins Sales, and Service branches to ensure standardization of process flows and effective communication.
- Knowledge of GOMS and/or BMS transactional processes is preferred but not required.
