DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented SR Dev Technician, Bevel Gear to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate design and procurement of all necessary tools for gear development.
- Understand gear geometry, gear manufacturing and gear quality procedures.
- Expediting part processing through internal and external sources.
- Program management and scheduling.
- Coordination of all gear development lab activities.
- Develop and implement best practices.
- Maintain Best in Class House Keeping practices.
- Ensuring on time delivery of all program objectives.
- Must be able to use various computer systems and programs as necessary to complete job functions.
- Be able to work extra hours as necessary.
- Work closely with Gear Developers and Gear Engineers.
- Be able to write detailed technical reports.
- Have a positive attitude, quick learner and a team player with diverse ideas and viewpoints.
- Must be able to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering or Technical degree required.
Experience in gear manufacturing required.
Familiar with programming & operation of gear equipment
Gear design experience preferred.
