DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a certified OFF road mechanics to join our Distribution business in Fort McMurray, AB.

Fly-in Fly out -14 shifts on, 14 shifts off - Days and Nights. Camp based position at Fort Hills.

You will make an impact in the following ways :

• Engages customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Anticipates and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
• Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools
• Coaches on preventative maintenance activities and basic repairs completed by customer employees
• Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced On-Site Technicians and/or Supervisor
• Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Completes training in line with skill and business requirements Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• Heavy duty Red seal certification- OFF road is mandatory for these roles.
• Valid local driver's license
• Clean driver's abstract

Experience:

• Basic level field service work experience
• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
• High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional)
• Customer service experience

About the role:

• Random drug and alcohol testing on site.
• Service vehicle and tooling are provided.
• 14 shifts on, 14 shifts off - Days and Nights.
• Flights from Edmonton and Calgary covered by Cummins
• Position is safety sensitive.
• Work will be predominantly on shovels.
• Cummins offers a 5000$ sign on bonus for this role.
• Premiums for day and night shift rotation.
• Hourly wages 65.04$ plus premiums.
• Some traveling to be expected.
• A 350$ monthly living allowance is also included in this package.
