We’re seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team as a Python Gen AI develoeper, in Non-Financial Risk Technology to build GenAI solutions, agents, and tools for risk alerts and software development lifecycle products, agents, tools, skills, and more.

This is Vice President position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:
- Staff, develop and lead one or more teams which is part of a department.- Analyze multiple sets of information to create summaries for various stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using primarily Python and some Java as part of an Agile squad delivering with a dynamic, global fleet and associated squads.
- Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development velocity and solution quality.Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile meetings, deliver project status, and adapt to evolving regulatory and business requirements.
- Learn, improve, and apply Morgan Stanley's proprietary frameworks and best practices.
- Write comprehensive tests to ensure code reliability and maintainabilityRespond proactively to change, mastering new technical and business concepts as needed.
- Proven leadership and communication abilities; experience integrating, leveraging, and influencing teams, developers, and programs within a large enterprise
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Relevant 8+ years of development and technical leadership experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python.
- Proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.GenAI Coding Assistant:
- Experience with coding assistants like copilot, using Agent mode, Skills, etc.
- Databases: Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.
- SDLC Experience with DevOps practices:
- CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to design and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
- Teamwork & Communication: Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.Testing:
- Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant.
