As part of GSG, the Operational Excellence (OE) team safeguards the Company’s brand and assets. Our organization collaborates across key internal partners to drive vital controls and oversight processes, enabling GSG teams to set the standard for a seamless and differentiated customer experience.
As a core part of the OE organization, the Issue Management team tracks and resolves Operational Risk Events and Corrective Actions. The Manager of Issue Management reporting will lead the development and delivery of key senior leader and regulatory reporting packages with the aim to provide actionable insights and to raise awareness of the Operational Risk environment and status of the control and compliance scorecard metrics.

As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in leading the development and delivery of key senior leader and regulatory reporting packages with the aim to provide actionable insights and to raise awareness of the Operational Risk environment and status of the control and compliance scorecard metrics.
Your daily activities include analyzing new Risk Events to understand the theme and root cause, collaborating with Action Plan owners to understand the status of the issues and the drivers of the delays. Understanding the metrics and all the different aspects that impact them. Creating multiple senior leadership and regulatory reporting and presenting to senior leaders in different forums.
Partner with Compliance, and the rest of the Issue management organization in the development of the reporting and talking points for presentations.
You will become a key partner to senior leaders by performing detailed analysis of previous issues to support them on strengthening the control environment of their processes and ensure they are aware of risks within their organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large data sets to identify, analyze and interpret trends and patterns, Excel and Tableau preferable.
- Control point monitoring, reporting, and feedback to improve quality.
- Operational Excellence experience or experience in regulatory, control and compliance related functions, with a knowledge of the Issue Management framework preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to clearly provide written reports that accurately and clearly summarize issues in an understandable and logical manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence through collaboration and building effective relationships across stakeholder groups.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
- Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Powerpoint and MS Excel (pivot tables, thorough knowledge of Excel functions, visual formatting techniques for user-friendly worksheet deliverables) required
- Experience working with audit, compliance, operational risk, regulatory, finance, and control functions.
- Experience with Archer preferred
- Leadership reporting experience preferred
- Master's degree preferred
