Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Business Development Manager in Miami, FL to:
- Support and execute short and long-term strategic plans for Visa’s Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) Global Clients.
- Execute a set of objectives and goals for clients to increase Client's Visa sales volume, profitability and provide dynamic and proactive product support and customer service.
- Own and execute key growth activities, identify new business opportunities, and engage on commercial activities with Global Clients in LAC.
- Execute growth incentive agreements with our clients.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and shared objectives; ensure that cross-functional teams are aligned and educated about clients’ and business partners’ environment.
- Analyze Clients’ profiles/data with the purpose of offering products and services to grow the business.
- Understand client views on development of banking and financial services industry.
- Understand clients’ strategies, priorities, needs and business processes.
- Position requires international travel 20% of the time.
- Position reports to the Miami, Florida office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Employer will accept Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a sales or business development-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Client engagement capabilities.
- Consultative sales.
- Negotiating agreements with clients.
- Developing sales and marketing strategies for clients.
- Client reporting.
- Understanding of digital payments methods – mobile wallets, contactless payments and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of acquiring and issuing processes.
- Understanding complexities and challenges associated with cross-border transactions.
- Knowledge of various alternative payment methods.
- Understanding of real time payments and their impact on customer experience
- Fluency in Spanish, English and Portuguese required.
Additional Information
Worksite: Miami, FL
Position reports to the Miami, Florida office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Travel Requirements: Position requires international travel 20% of time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $176,176.00 USD to $179,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
