DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Service Manager to join our team in Service in Downey, CA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Coaches and develops technicians through the advancement process
- Coaches and develops technicians with complex service interventions and diagnostic issues
- Coaches and develops Service Supervisors/Advisors to successfully navigate the repair process
- Manages shop tools/equipment for proper operation
- Safety Committee Member
- Responsible for LOTO adherence and recertification
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Knowledge of Diesel and Nat Gas engines
- Experience managing in a shop service environment
- Experience ‘scheduling and managing’ service personnel
- Knowledge of Cummins Warranty/Policy processes
- Experience with estimating/quoting repairs
- Highly computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Cummins QSOL and Insite programs
- Customer Service experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Significant level of relevant technical experience, including supervisory experience, required.
