As a Microsoft Licensing & Program Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on licensing strategies, supporting complex deal structures, and driving program execution to maximize customer value and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Licensing & Commercial Management
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of Microsoft licensing programs, including CSP, EA, MPSA, SPLA, and Open Value.
- Optimize customer licensing through cost analysis, deal benchmarking, and spend optimization.
- Advise customers on the most effective licensing solutions to maximize ROI and compliance.
- Support the sales team in positioning organizations value proposition to win large and complex licensing deals.
- Deliver Microsoft software advisory and license optimization projects.
- Conduct licensing workshops and training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Provide licensing helpdesk support for large enterprise customers and resolve complex queries.
- Maintain 100% compliance of OEM trainings and certifications across teams.
- Administer vendor portals (e.g., PSX, Microsoft Partner Center) for updates, data validation, and user management.
- Organize vendor-funded campaigns and events (PowerDays, webinars, customer round tables).
- Enable internal teams through ongoing Licensing and Program knowledge sessions.
Program Management & Execution
- Conduct detailed program briefings and training sessions for sales and presales teams.
- Support Sales (Account Managers) in identifying opportunities, renewals, and incremental revenue streams.
- Maintain an active customer pipeline and track conversion from engagement to license purchase.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and program trackers for business reviews with Microsoft and Crayon Leadership.
