Job DescriptionYou Role:
You will serve as a senior representative of Global Security across the EMEA region, leading regional and global business security strategy and execution in alignment with organisational objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring security risk is effectively managed across all business units in EMEA. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with business teams to embed security into operations, enabling a secure and resilient business environment through proactive engagement, partnership, and influence.
What you will be doing :
Regional Leadership & Strategy
Translate global security strategy into actionable plans aligned with business priorities and risk appetite.
Represent Global Security in business interactions, influencing decision-making and ensuring security is embedded in business team strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders across EMEA and the globe.
Act as the escalation point for business security matters in the region.
Advocate for business-driven security, ensuring alignment between business needs and security capabilities.
Risk Management & Governance
Oversee identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across EMEA, including third-party risks.
Ensure consistent implementation of security controls and compliance with global policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Provide strategic input into global risk governance, representing regional perspectives.
Security Consulting & Enablement
Provide strategic security consulting for major business initiatives, including acquisitions, technology transformations, and regulatory changes.
Promote a security culture through targeted training, awareness programs, and leadership engagement.
Support business units in making informed decisions on security risk and control implementation.
External Representation
Represent Global Security to clients, regulators, and external partners across EMEA.
Support third-party security risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place for external entities handling firm information.
What you will bring:
Proven experience in security consultancy across multiple disciplines (e.g., information security, physical security, privacy, resilience).
Experience operating in complex, global corporate environments.
Experience leading strategic initiatives, influencing and align business strategy with security strategy, responding to major incidents.
Deep understanding of the financial services industry, preferably asset management.
Knowledge of risk management, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional or equivalent preferred (or obtained within 12 months of hire).
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management.
Executive Communication & Influence.
Proven ability to communicate complex security and risk concepts clearly and persuasively to executive stakeholders, board-level audiences, and cross-functional teams across the EMEA region and on a global scale. Skilled in tailoring messaging to diverse business contexts and cultures.Relationship Management & Strategic Partnership
Strategic Translation of Technical Risk.
Adept at translating technical and operational security risks into strategic business language, enabling informed decision-making at the regional leadership level. Capable of aligning security initiatives with commercial priorities and regulatory landscapes.Risk Intelligence & Decision Support.
Strong analytical acumen to assess emerging threats, geopolitical risks, and business vulnerabilities. Able to synthesize intelligence into actionable strategies and influence risk posture across multiple business units.Autonomous Leadership & Execution.
Self-directed and results-oriented, with a track record of independently driving security programs, incident response, and transformation initiatives to successful outcomes.Collaborative Leadership Across Cultures.
