Job Description

Drive the strategic development and execution of innovative medical education programs across a portfolio of aesthetics and regenerative medicine products. Serve as a critical partner to key opinion leaders and internal stakeholders, ensuring educational initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and brand strategy. Champion excellence in curriculum design, regulatory compliance, and program delivery to advance patient care and position Allergan Aesthetics as a leader in the field.

  • Strategically design and execute impactful medical education and surgical training initiatives for the aesthetics and regenerative medicine portfolio, tailoring content and delivery methods to evolving market needs and business objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), faculty, and strategic partners to drive thought leadership, co-develop educational content, and ensure alignment with external expertise.
  • Lead cross-functional program planning and alignment discussions, working closely with marketing, regulatory, clinical, commercial, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and strategic consistency.
  • Oversee the rigorous review and compliance of all educational content and speaker materials, ensuring adherence to internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end speaker engagement processes, including identification, contracting, onboarding, capability development, and ongoing performance feedback to ensure quality educational experiences.
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum frameworks, leveraging adult learning principles, digital technology, and experiential formats (e.g., bioskills labs, workshops, symposia) for maximum audience engagement and learning retention.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on program metrics and outcomes; integrate feedback and emerging trends into continuous improvement of educational strategies and tactics.
  • Independently manage multiple projects and program budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation, cost control, and timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Champion opportunities for process innovation, new technology integration, and best practice sharing to continually enhance the impact and scalability of the Medical Education function.
  • Act as a key contributor to departmental strategy, participating in ideation, status meetings, and cross-functional projects, and serving as an ambassador for the organization with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare or medical education, with expertise in project management and curriculum development.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and Plastic/Regenerative Medicine market trends.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, analytical acumen, and proficiency with business software tools.
  • Travel required: 5 – 10% (includes weekend travel)

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
