DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management : Supports or leads multiple projects from inception to completion. Facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project. Works with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals. Designs project plans, develops timelines, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against goals and timelines.
- Issue Resolution : Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues. Monitors and communicates project status to the project team.
- Research and Analysis : Conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
- Change Management : Facilitates change management initiatives in the Procurement function.
- Risk Management : Manages project risk using quality tools to identify risk areas; works with others to identify alternatives or solutions.
- Documentation and Communication : Documents and shares team learnings with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance project success. Maintains project notes, databases, and other records. Monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on the status of specific projects and assignments.
- Coaching and Mentoring : May coach and mentor less experienced team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience :
Intermediate level of relevant work experience is required. Prior experience in participating in change management initiatives is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree is required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Material Compliance and Supplier Risk Tracking : Experience in tracking material compliance and supplier risk for Global suppliers.
- New Part Development Process : Running the process for development for all new parts.
- Database Management : Maintaining the SharePoint database for Global Purchasing.
- Super User for Managing contracts : Maintaining the status of supplier contracts for Global Suppliers.
- Process Liaison : Acting as a link between different Cummins Entities tracking any purchasing process changes.
- Global Purchasing- Experience-mainly China and Europe
