Job Summary:

Provides analytical support as a member of the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares analyses and reports for the Accounting Team and makes recommendations for changes to methods and processes based on the analyses prepared.

Prepares statistical, Analysis and reporting that drives Insight generation / action

Resolves moderately complex Accounting issues and problems.

Participates in Quality related activities like Root Cause analysis, 6 Sigma, 7 Step

Builds and maintains relationships with other Finance disciplines and work teams.

Executes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES：

1. Operations/Functional Excellence (FE)
2. Support daily operation/monthly end closing/ IC dispute and issue resolution.
3. Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, Resolves moderately complex accounts receivable /payable issues and problems.
4. Prepare netting and coordinate with cross functions ABO tax , ABO treasury/ entity finance ,meet HSBC/SAFE requirement
5. Executes special projects as assigned globally or locally, design automation tools to improve team efficiency and accuracy.
6. Support Audit and provide relevant documents to PWC/ Internal audit.
7. Team management, assist team members to solve issues and regular training, case study and sharing.
8. Builds and maintains relationships with external customers, other Finance disciplines
9. New business support, give input and suggestions if necessary, respond customer and stakeholders' queries. Customers
10. Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries in accordance with CBS service level.
11. Communicate or raise meeting with entity finance/business regularly for payment or collections issues.
12. New business support or discussion, give comments to business if required.

Key performance indicator:

1. Per agreed-upon annual measures with CBS China Finance & Accounting Management
2. Related working experience , python, excel VBA, power query, Power BI skills is preferred.

US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - Evaluates US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assesses the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge.

Decision quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject required.

Experience:Minimal level of relevant work experience required.
