Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our Enterprise Technology team as a Java/Python Full Stack Developer , in Enterprise Computing (EC) to join our Capacity Management team. This role will focus on building and enhancing internal tooling used for infrastructure planning, reporting, automation, and operational decision-making. The role includes end-to-end development across backend services, APIs, frontend dashboards, data pipelines, deployment automation, and production support. The ideal candidate should bring strong full stack engineering skills, a solid understanding of enterprise application development, and practical exposure to AI-assisted software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar market-available solutions to improve engineering productivity across the SDLC.

This is Associate position that maintains the stability and reliability of the organization's infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability to support business operations.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications for capacity management and infrastructure-related use cases
  • Build and support backend services, APIs, and data processing components using Java, Spring Boot, Python, or similar technologies.
  • The current JD specifically calls out backend development using Python and Java, along with API and dashboard development
  • Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend dashboards & web interfaces using React> Collect, validate, transform, and process data from multiple enterprise sources.
  • Create and maintain automation pipelines for reporting, operational workflows, and data quality checks
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and support relational databases such as Postgres, DB2, Sybase, or similar platforms
  • Support containerized deployments, DevOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, or equivalent tools
  • Work closely with business, operations, and engineering stakeholders to convert business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot production issues, improve application reliability, and contribute to maintainable software design
  • Mentor junior team members and demonstrate strong ownership and leadership qualities

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • At least 4+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Full Stack Web Development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, Spring / Spring Boot, Angular, React.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs / Web Services
  • Working knowledge of relational databases like SQL / Postgres / DB2 / Sybase or similar RDBMS  Docker / containers, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Good to have exposure to AI adoption in SDLC and experience using AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day engineering work.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar coding assistants.
  • Exposure to applying AI across the software development lifecycle, including code generation, unit test support, code explanation and refactoring, documentation drafting, developer productivity improvement
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly while maintaining code quality, secure coding standards, and review discipline.
  • Awareness of current market practices around AI adoption in software engineering, including how AI can improve delivery speed, developer efficiency, and SDLC quality without replacing core engineering judgment.
  • Experience in infrastructure tooling, operational reporting, or enterprise platform engineering
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Knowledge of financial services or experience working in regulated enterprise environments
  • Experience mentoring junior developers or contributing to shared engineering standards
